Student Government - StuGo
Student Government at South Pointe High School is an activity that is available for academic elective credit. Students enrolled and successfully complete the course requirements earn .5 credit per block.
The Student Government is responsible for many school events and also for keeping a calendar of all school activities and events. Students also are required to do a minimum of 9 hours of Community Service per block. Community Service opportunities include: Adopt-A-Street clean up, preparing and serving dinner at the Ronald McDonald House, sorting food and packing boxes at St. Mary's Food Bank, tutoring, helping teachers with various projects, campus clean-up, and many others.
